CLARE Foundation

The CLARE Foundation, a nonprofit organization located in Santa Monica, California, was committed to offering comprehensive treatment, recovery, and prevention services to individuals suffering from substance use disorders and related behavioral health issues. CLARE emerged as a community asset, providing a comprehensive range of services that encompassed detoxification, residential treatment, outpatient services, and specialized programs. The organization was renowned for its unwavering dedication to assisting families and individuals in their recovery endeavors. 

The residential treatment programs at CLARE offered 24-hour supervision and support, including individual counseling, psychotherapy, addiction education, and recovery support meetings. The organization provided specialized programs for expectant and postpartum women and operated gender-specific residential facilities, which enabled mothers to live with their children during treatment. In addition to its residential programs, it provided outpatient services, including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). These programs were developed to accommodate individuals at varying phases of their recovery by offering group counseling, individual therapy, family meetings, and random drug screening.

It was committed to maintaining high standards of care and was accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The organization implemented evidence-based practices, such as the Matrix Model, which prioritized a comprehensive treatment approach.
